Additional Information
I’ve always had an interest in local governance and community in Ventnor since I moved here in 2018 and decided to run for election, joining VTC in May 2025.

Currently I’m perusing a career in basketball and through this ambition have gained roles like Vice Chair of the IOW Basketball Club, Table Official and Bench Personnel for our U16 team travelling around Hampshire, and Basketball Coach- working for not just the club, but for high schools like Medina College and for various charity and community groups like Community Action and the Ventnor Youth Club.

I began this through volunteering to coach and help with basketball in any way I could, and have continued that within my role at VTC, volunteering for every opportunity I can get if I have the time, like marshalling the Ventnor Summer Festival, putting dog poo posters in local businesses windows and collecting and giving away free clothing at RUT.
I’m a big believer in Community Involvement, and my past experiences has reaffirmed that belief, seeing firsthand the impact taking just a bit of time to help or chat can do for people.

I’m incredibly thankful for the chance I’ve been given (at VTC) as I’ve met some great people, gained skills I’ll carry for the rest of my professional life, and mentored the next generation of potential young councillors in Ventnor.

If you see me, I’m always happy to chat and can usually be found out and about in our charity shops.
