Local Multiply free maths courses

Multiply is a new government-funded programme to help adults improve their maths skills with free courses.
You will be able to take part if:
• You are over 19
• You do not have maths GCSE at grade C (or equivalent)
• You live on the Isle of Wight
Good maths skills can help you find more job opportunities and lead to higher wages. They can also help in everyday life, such as helping children with homework and budgeting money.

Free maths programmes for adults will include courses, workshops and support: –
• Increase your confidence with numbers
• Flexible courses and workshops to fit around work and life
• Regular drop-in support from a maths tutor offered in towns across the Island
• Take the first step towards gaining maths qualifications:-
o Maths Skills Units – building towards a City and Guilds certificate
o Fast-track Functional Skills qualifications up to level 2
o Online courses are available for all levels of Maths
• Brush up your skills to support the kids with their homework
• Monergy Plus workshops from the Footprint Trust to help you understand your energy bills and manage your usage
• Cooking on a budget
• Individualised assessments and support
