VENTNOR YOUTH CLUB, LOCAL COMMUNITY YOUTH CLUB funded by Ventnor Town Council.
Now being situated in its own dedicated Youth Centre in Ventnor, with an all weather playing surface and open green spaces this will be without doubt the best youth space in the area.
Providing a holistic approach to solving some of our society’s biggest challenges. We make sure our young people are empowered by creating opportunities for individuals and communities.
For over six years Ventnor Town Council has run a Local Youth Offer, in Upper and Lower Ventnor: providing activities and enrichment for young people aged 9-15.
SOCIAL WELLBEING AND DEVELOPMENT
Our goal is to promote the well-being and inclusion of the young people within our community.
With access to the right resources and a space that is theirs to have pride and be creative in: young people can become empowered by their own abilities and gain the confidence to fulfil their potential.
DEVELOPMENT OF SKILLS/NICHES EXPLORATION
At our groups, we have a lot of personalities! We enjoy new challenges and explore different interests together, building on our skills and confidence. Through cooperation with; other non-profit organisations, monetary funding, creative Session leaders and community empowerment: we are able to facilitate a varied program of activities for young people. Successful collaborations have been diverse, including; Designing and building a sea-worthy raft with electric tools, scrap robot wars, exploring in our natural areas or, a bush craft activity day, at East Dene…
