The roads Network service provider for the Ventnor and District area
Whilst Ventnor is known as being one of the sunniest spots on the Island, it is also known for its challenging highway network, including several roads which have moved/disappeared since they were first created in Victorian times!
District 5 covers the electoral divisions of: Godshill and Wroxall, Chale, Niton and Whitwell, Ventnor East and Ventnor West. It includes the Parish Councils of: Wroxall, Niton & Whitwell, and Godshill, as well as Ventnor Town Council.
One of the benefits of the Core Investment Period is the opportunity it affords us to implement schemes to resolve some of the long term geotechnical problems that are in this area, such as at Undercliff Drive and the Military Road.
